Deputy Prime Minister Koo Yun Cheol met with GCF Executive Director Mafalda Duarte in Seoul to discuss strengthening Korea–GCF cooperation on October 24. The Ministry emphasized leveraging climate action and AI innovation for future growth and called for deeper collaboration with organizations like GGGI and ADB K-Hub. The meeting also saw the signing of an MOU to launch a Junior Professional Officer (JPO) program at the GCF, with the first cohort planned for 2026.
